Terms and Conditions

  • To take driving lessons, you must have a valid learner’s permit or overseas driving licence. If a learner cannot produce the required documentation, the instructor has the right to refuse the lesson or test, and the learner will typically forfeit any payment for that session.
  • Safe footwear must be worn during lessons and tests. Open footwear, barefoot, or high heels are considered unsafe and may lead to refusal of the lesson or test, with the session forfeited.
  • Driving lessons and VicRoads practical driving tests depend on instructor availability.
  • Always confirm your instructor’s availability before booking your driving lessons and the VicRoads practical driving test. If you do not, you may need to reschedule your test date at your own expense.
  • Learners should be accessible via phone or text to confirm their presence and coordinate with the instructor.
  • If the learner is not available within the 15-minute grace period, the lesson will be forfeited, and cancellation policies may apply.
  • On the day of the test, arrive at the designated VicRoads location at least 10 minutes early. Ensure your mobile phone is turned on and reachable so your instructor can locate you (except during the test, when it must be switched off).
  • You are solely responsible for booking the test with VicRoads. If a driving test booking error occurs due to incorrect information (including dates or times), the session with your instructor will end and there will be no refunds or discounts on subsequent bookings.
  • It’s crucial to bring all required documentation to avoid delays or cancellation of your appointment. This includes VicRoads appointment receipt, valid Hazard Perception Test (HPT) documents, corrective eyewear, and logbook. For overseas drivers, it is mandatory to produce valid overseas licence and supporting documents required by Vicroads.
  • If a VicRoads officer deems your documents invalid or if you fail to meet the required criteria for a driving test, your application will be rejected, and you will not be eligible for a refund or discount on future bookings.
  • If VicRoads officer/management rejects a practical driving test due to insufficient or unacceptable documents, or because the applicant doesn’t meet their criteria, the driving instructor’s session ends. The test portion of the booking cannot be converted into a regular driving lesson.
  • To avoid forfeiting a driving lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to your driving instructor via email, SMS or phone 0434901040 or our office email nownowdrivingschool@gmail.com if you need to cancel, postpone, or change the pickup location.
  • Cancellation or postponement of Vicroads practical driving tests requires at least 48 hours’ notice. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the test and any preceding lessons.
  • For lessons exceeding 90 minutes, a 48-hour notice is required for cancellations, postponements, or pickup location changes. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the test.
  • A lesson within a package can be postponed or canceled a maximum of two times. If it is postponed or canceled a third time, it will be forfeited. A 24-hour notice is required for any postponement or cancellation.
  • If you cancel or request a refund for a prepaid lesson package, before or during its use, you will be charged a $50 administration fee. Moreover, any lessons already taken will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate of $75 per hour or $110 per 90 minutes.
  • Refunds are processed only via bank transfer to the client’s account, and refund requests must be submitted from the original booking email. Refunds are not processed by phone.
  • Switching between automatic and manual transmission within a package is treated as a package cancellation and may be refused based on instructor availability.
  • Packages cannot be transferred between clients or instructors. Once started, packages cannot be changed to a different location or package type, though additional lessons or packages may be booked separately.
  • All prepaid packages are valid for 3 months from the purchase date and must be completed within this period. Expired packages cannot be redeemed.
  • Extension requests for packages may be granted under special circumstances if submitted before expiry via email to nownowdrivingschool@gmail.com.
  • To ensure clear communication and proper record-keeping, all correspondence between clients, the driving school, and instructors should be done via email, with a copy (CC) sent to nownowdrivingschool@gmail.com.

By adhering to these terms and conditions, you help ensure a smooth and efficient driving lesson experience.
